Terms & Conditions

Using this site means accepting these terms and the limits described below. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site. These terms govern access to the pages, links, and outside search tools.

This privately owned site is not tied to any government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

This is a private reference resource with no government authority. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, or file a request or court paper for a visitor.

The pages point toward Riverside County jail and booking resources, California and federal custody tools, and outside research providers. The originating offices remain responsible for their own data.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site lawfully and without harming other people or the service.

  • Do not violate a law while accessing or using the information.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, impersonate, or target another person.
  • Do not use content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or other regulated decisions.
  • Do not try to enter systems or accounts without authorization.
  • Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools.
  • Do not impair access, overload pages, or disrupt service for others.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It and its advertising partners do not supply background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services. Users agree not to rely on site content for an FCRA-covered decision.

  • Hiring, firing, or other employment decisions
  • Rental, housing, or tenant screening
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
  • Licenses, permits, or government-program eligibility
  • Any other purpose controlled by the FCRA

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to jail rosters, booking-date forms, sheriff and corrections sites, courts, government portals, legal-help pages, news outlets, and outside search services. Those destinations are not controlled or endorsed by this site. Review their terms, prices, privacy rules, and availability before using them.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." No warranty is made about the following points.

  • Accuracy, completeness, or current status
  • Continuous or uninterrupted availability
  • Freedom from errors, bugs, or security flaws
  • Completeness of results from a partner tool

Custody status and public records can change at any time. Nothing on these pages is an official statement from the Riverside County Sheriff's Office or another government agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse of information, or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Content

Text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Riverside County Busted Mugshots or its content partners unless stated otherwise. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

These terms may change at any time. A revised version takes effect when posted, and continued use after posting means the visitor accepts it.

Access May Be Ended

Access may be restricted, suspended, or revoked at any time, for any lawful reason, without advance notice.

California Governing Law

California law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in California.

Severability

If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in force. The affected provision will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
